Electroplated diamond polishing pads are mainly used on hand-held polishers for polishing granite, marble, Silestone, dekton, concrete, terrazzo, tiles, and other stone and construction materials. Widely used for surface polishing such as countertop polishing and restoration, stairs polishing, floor edge and corner polishing, swimming pool polishing, tile edge trimming as well as any small area polishing where a hand-held polisher can reach.
Unlike traditional polishing pads which diamond grains are randomly distributed throughout a matrix of resin or metal, electroplated polishing pads have 100% diamond exposure. So instead of only partial of the diamonds working in a resin or metal bond polishing pad, electroplated polishing pads have 100% of the diamonds working from start to finish.
Features of Z-LION electroplated diamond polishing pads are as follows:
• The pads have an aggressive stock removal rate, ideal for surface grinding and polishing.
• The pads' diamond surface is less likely to peel off which ensures smooth polishing as well as long lasting.
• The pads come with a fabric substrate, they are as flexible as resin pads but more aggressive than resin pads.
• The pads have high-temperature resistance due to superior heat dissipation.
• The pads can be used wet and dry though using wet will substantially increase the lifespan.
Popular sizes are 3", 4", 5", 6" and 7" though diameters from 2" to 24" are all available.
Popular grits are 60# 120# 200# 400#, coarse grit 30# and fine grits 600# 800# 1500# 3000# can be made as per request.
Comes with a velcro back, and different velcro colors for different grit.
The electroplated working surface can be in square, hexagon, and dot pattern.
Can be with or without a center water hole.
